Teriyaki Chicken
Looking for a quick and flavorful protein to add to your weekly meal prep? This easy teriyaki chicken is one of my go-to recipes! It’s as simple as grabbing a store-bought sauce you love, adding a few seasonings to boost the flavor, and tossing it in the air fryer. Whether you’re pairing it with rice and veggies or adding it to a salad or wrap, this one’s a crowd-pleaser and takes minimal effort to prep.
Note: I don’t typically measure out all of my ingredients, and usually prepare as much chicken as I need for the day/week. Make it easy and season to taste.
Ingredients:
Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
Garlic Powder
Himalayan Pink Salt
Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Sweet Teriyaki Sauce (I like Sprouts Sweet Teriyaki sauce)
Instructions:
Preheat your air fryer or grill to 400 degrees.
Prepare chicken however you like (half or full breasts, butterfly, strips or nuggets)
Coat all sides of chicken with garlic powder, Himalayan pink salt and fresh ground pepper.
Coat with sweet teriyaki sauce (option: marinate your chicken for at least an hour to increase the flavor)
Transfer chicken to a foil-lined air fryer basket and cook for approximately 15 minutes, until cooked through. Do not overcook as this will dry out your chicken.
Serve with garlic jasmine rice or stir fry veggies!
